    I found a few honey holes at lake pleasant over the weekend...
    Here are some pictures.

    ~ We caught and released 4 flatheads and 6 channel cats;
    * The two big ones went 19 lbs and 22.40 lbs..

    Baits used were live blue gill and baby carps for the flatheads.
    * The channel cats were taken on blue gill and shad...
    * The big channel cat was just under 10 lbs...

    Good job!!!! Out of Pleasant ta boot. I still have yet to catch a flattie out of there. One day i'll give it a try. Glad to see you shook of the skunk. Is that your son and daughter? They look to be about the same age as my kids. 5 year old daughter and 3 year old son. It's always fun to bring them and i consider them good luck. Looks like they brought you some. :cool2: Good Job Chief!!!!
    I have passed around alot of rep and still can't give ya any. :angry: O'well Flatties are better than rep. :wink:

    Thanks,
    It has been a long time since I hooked one over 20 lbs, and that one just barely squeaked by.. lol..

    I brought my daughter and my nephew. They are 6 and 3, this was my nephew's first over night trip, my daughter is a veteran with more time on the water than most adults...

    *I will be spending a lot more time at this lake... I think there is a lot of untapped potential here. And this lake is less than a hour away from the house!

    Andy, I think this is the first time I heard you were at Pleasant. Please spend some more time out there, and then share your wealth of knowledge!! Pleasant is so convenient to get to, but sometimes very challenging to fish, even though conditions usually seem to be great.
    Great catch, and thanks for the pics. I now have some new motivation!!
