Brian Good Luck to ya on a big catch. Tell Teresa I hope she brings back a big one. Have fun!!!!
Good luck y'all. Don't forget to tell us when, where, and how you caught 'em when you get back :big_smile:.
Hey Brian ! How'd yall do ? I didn't make it after all this past weekend...Hopefully this coming one...
We settled in at parks ferry campground, its a georgia power campground.
Outstanding site on the water lots of shade, tables and grills. Bath house, bath rooms and playgrounds for the kiddos.
The water was on an avg was kinda warm, by late day was bumping close to 90 and in the evening it would drop to around 85.
Bass Massey used live bream, I used frozen blue back herring and I caught a nice blue fishing off the camp site.
David and Jen caught a nice blue each near the rail road trissel.
The lake has many underwater log stump fields, caution is a must. you can find holes up to 35 to 38 feet deep.
Bass Massey served as a excellent guide!
I hope this helps!
That is a very good report, thanks

Brian, you were about 7-8 miles as the crow flies from my hunt club... Besides the camp shore, I read yall fished near the RR tracks...You mean all the way up past I-20 ?...That's a long haul ...
It took me about 5 to 10 minutes and thats slowing down for the bridges, That mercury runs good when you let it run. GPS said 42 mph from a flat bottom boat! lol!:smile2:
i beleive the address chambers wrote there is for the main office down by the dam.......parks ferry campground is just below I-20, which would be a long haul from the dam.
AARON ,I got you some 550 paracord! 100'.
Thanks, Aaron...Is that off of 44 south on the right ?
yeah you turn of 44 onto carey station.....it's gonna be on your right. There's a small georgia power sign for the campground too that will tell you to go right. Then go down carey station maybe 3-4 mile and there will be another sign tellin ya to go left...watch out it will sneak up on ya, it's right on a curve.
Thanks Brian! is it 3/8 ? hollow? if not i can pull the stuffing out....I sure appreciate it. I got about 20 drift weights when i was down in sc last weekend. But I will need to make some soon enough.
