    Hey everybody....

I'm new here, and have recently started catfishin. I'm fishing at Lake o' the Pines' spillway in East Texas, and Lake Murvaul as well. For anyone who fishes at either of these lakes, do you know if I should use nightcrawlers or live crappie minnows? I was also wondering if the LoP spillway was a good spot for cats. Thanks in advance, Adrian.

Gibbzilla, if you are going to fish Murvaul you can not top Shad. I do not know about Lake of the pines.

Welcome aboard. Ya can't beat shad or bream for some really nice blues and channels. Also may I suggest gettin' ya some Danny King Punch Bait. This stuff works well on the lakes I fish.
