Pressure reading was 30.15 and wind was out of the North East, but I went anyway. Only had four bites and missed the first one (never touched the rod), but got (circle hooks did their job) the next three. The first fish was a 25+ pound flathead and the next two were blues, 28 and 32 pounders. I was using my secret bait, marinated in shad oil. Found a cove full of crappie brush, so I just sat there figuring that it was a great place for a lunker or two to be cruising or a place to lose several rigs. Water temp. was 60.5 degrees and the fish were in 25 feet of water. Odd, I did not have a single bite from a small cat, guess the big ones had them scared.
