Does any body know how good stink bait works in lake murray?
Zach - if stink bait is all that you have, then you gotta use what'cha got. But those Murray blues love fresh bait: herring, perch, shad & brim. I think that even previously frozen bait will work better than stink bait, but like I said, you gotta use what you have.
stink bait works well on Murray all summer long. but be prepared to deal with nibblers, small cats and lots of bullheads. great for eating size cats, i've used docs and sonnys dip bait that you can get from lake world. i don't use stink bait anymore because i'm not tryin to catch eaters anymore. i only use large chunks of cut bait or live white perch. to big for nibblers to fool with. good fishin to all...
