I saw on the news tonight a couple had disappeared from their boat on lake murray. DNR says the area they were in was 200 feet deep in some spots. I REALLY didn't know lake murray was that deep.

    Hopefully they will be found....

Surprisingly enough, down around the towers the water actually falls of to 300 plus feet. This time of year thats where you will find all the striper fisherman. There is a pretty big area from the towers back up lake that is in the 200 foot range. We will also keep the family in our prayers.

I hope they are found but its doubtful they will be found alive.

Yes Murray is rather deep. Its a 120 feet deep at the gap and thats a good ways from the dam.
