Went last night from 8pm thru 5am and caught 5 fish. Was a slow bite for a while but finnally found some that was hungry. Got some good pulldowns and lost 3 while being realed in. Fished the lower part by the dam in shallow water. Our biggest fish was 36 pounds followed by a 22,20,7,and a 6 pounder.

We drifted shallow water most of the night, and caught some shad in 3-7' with the cast net. My Honey hole is just above Fay, N.C on the Cape Fear, it wont do you no good down here:smile2::smile2::smile2:

Yes I went to the hardware store and got some heatshrink tube and put buckshot in them. It worked a whole lot better. I was able to drift shallower water and not as many hangups.
