I will be down there next week and will be staying up around Russelville. This will be my first trip to Moultrie. Is the catfishing on that part of the lake good or would you try a different part of the lake? Man I can't wait!!

Any part of both lakes has good fishing. I fish here a good bit......usually the wind gets to dictate which part of the lake I fish. If you catch any bigguns, snap a picture and throw him back. I hope you have fun

I think both Russelville & Bonneau landings have very low water levels, if not dry.Canal Lakes & Hills Landing are good spots to launch.

100% say Canal Lakes Resort or Hills Landing in the canal! get out and anchor up anywhere in between the no wake zone and you will catch fish!

Just drift around and find some fish laying in the holes in the canal.Anchor down on them and be ready to catch a good fish.It may take a hour to get a bite but it will be a good one.PLEASE RELEASE IT after taking pic.
