    A buddy & I fished Monty today from the pier across from the 215 boat landing. Jim had the only hit, which turned out to be a great fighting 18# blue caught on a shad head.

    Pat, I was hoping you was gon'a find the mother load, but anytime you can fish with a good buddy it's all ways a good day.:wink:

    One is better than none which has been my problem lately. At least you were able to go so that always a good start.

    Nice fish. Me and my buddy had 3 good runs last Sat. in that same area, but never got a hook set. Good runs as in I am thankful I came home with a fishing pole. Those spring style bank rod holders are no match for the Monty blues apparently. It bent them like it was nothing. We were out on the point with the picnic tables facing the nuke plant.
