Just looked at the forecast for Newberry, looks good. 4 - 8 mph winds today through tomorrow. Barring a t-storm you should be good to go. You really have to watch Monty, she gets rough in a hurry. Monty also is very dark at night, very few lights around the lake.

Last Saturday I found cats (in the daylight hours) drifting across points and ledges. They hit cut herring and shrimp in 10 - 30 feet. I caught 18 fish, but they were small (8lbs the best). Part of that may have been the size of my bait. The herring I buy is running small this summer.

I'm toying with the idea of going early tomorrow morning myself, if I can get my yardwork finished today.

By the way Riverosa, what part of Tennessee? My folks live in Morristown.
