I fished Monticello friday inspite of the impending downpours. It had rained a lot the night before already. The water was the muddiest I've personally ever seen there. I trolled and drifted some deep water with some suspended and shallow cut shad and only caught one blue about 5lbs. So I trolled shallow around some islands and only caught one more, a 3.5lb channel. If I remember right the water was 63 degrees. As soon as I got the boat on the trailer the wind picked up and the rain came in like flipping a light switch on, so at least that worked out good. It wasn't a very productive trip, but you'll have that sometimes.

i feel your pain...i have fished broadway lake twice in the last 2 weeks and have only managed 1 good bite and did not even hook up with that...i think sometimes we just have to pay some dues.
