Heading out next month for a two day stay at the Lake Mead Resort. When my wife was speaking to the receptionist she had mentioned I enjoy catfishing and she was told that the marina/dam portion of the resort was a preffered area for catfishing. Does anyone have knowledge of this area.....if so any advice of a landmark or a specific point that would best accomadate bank fishing,fyi I am also willing to drive if there is nearby river access,thanks.

ok more info the place where im staying is the Hoover dam area..I did not realize how huge of a lake it was until I checked a map.

All I know is it is 400 ft deep by dam 700 ft tall and when you look over edge you can see fish that appear large like Shark size! Enjoy!
