Planning on going to Randolph's this weekend.
I typically drift this time of the year.
What effect will all of this fresh water have on the catfishing?
Any recommendations or 'Best Guesses' would be appreciated.

Well if you mean all that water that is filling up the lakes,I think you can count on it having a positive effect.IT brings new oxygenated water and flushes the lakes out because of the flow through. This stimulates good spawns by all the species as more prime areas are available when the lakes are full. There will also be more forage available more clams and mussels washed loose and the fish will have more area to roam. The big catfish will feel like a human being that is really hungry walking into the Golden Corral on steak night.:smile2::wink:please dont dangle any body parts in the water!!!!Hate to see you pulled out of the boat by one of them bigflatheads!!!:smile2:Have fun the bite is on.
