Once again drifted with threadfin shad and perch. Only caught 3 with the big one about 12. I had three rods go down at the same time and caught 2, had the third one coming to the boat and got off. Sure was hot after the wind laid down. Hope to try again next week.

Three is better than none, but not all three at once, especially if you by yourself. Sounds like things picked up at least for a minute or two. Last time we were there when the wind stopped blowing it got hot too. I guess that it's that time of year.
