Nice fish for sure. Went out this morning and caught 10 average about 3.5lbs each with one 9.5lber. I shoulda took a pic but didn't take the time. Wish I could have got a bigun like yours. Do you ever fish the pump back any? Some of my buddies and I like to fish it when things cool down some more.

I took my 12 year old nephew fishing on hudson on halloween. he caught the first fish, a 30 lb blue!. It was his biggest by far and i got a cell phone pic of it..........but i forgot to save it into my gallery and now we have no picture of it. i was so mad i about passed out. we caught numerous 10 to 18 lb fish, in fact the boy got a big blister on his hand from the reel handle lol. these fish are realy full, and hitting hard.

yall better find some deep water with good current and toss some shad in there

    Bill.

Ok, me and okie63 are going out there today. i caught about 40 black perch 3 to 6 inches long for bait. so we wont have to use those baby shad this time out.

I don't care for the northeast wind, but its better than strait east:angry:

I'll try to give an update on this trip and some pics if we get into some big ones.

    GOOD LUCK AND GOOD FISHING.

okie63 didnt make the trip, my wife went and she caught her p.b. blue.

i still dont have a scale, so i just say it's twice the size of any she caught before. she is dang sure proud of it.

The bite was awsome, we caught around 20 blues none under 5 pounds

    Well i only caught 3 today .........a nice one about 25lbs a 10 and a 6 or 7 pounder.

they werent running much water and the pattern i was on was pretty much worthless.

forhorn i'm fishing kerr dam at lake hudson.........robert s kerr is south of salisaw..........which is a good place to fish as well.

Are you fishing above or below the dam? Ft Gibson was real slow today, they have 8 flood gates open in the middle of the dam, so the fish are out there.

I had always heard it called Markham Ferry Dam and couldn't figure why some might think it was Kerr Dam so I looked it up. I like it when I learn something new.

I think I have ask this question before but forgot the answer. Is there any place to launch a boat on the south side of the lake (Hudson)? I would like to fish there at the bridge south of Salina when they are running the pump back.

the bridge is called saline creek bridge, there is a free boat ramp just south of the ball fields on hw. 82

if you go under the bridge be carefull, as you get closer to the cable below the pump back........there many big dead heads submerged in there.
