went out today and fished some deeper water to start with (15 to 23 feet) but only boated one 5 lb channel in 2 hrs of fishing...moved back into shallow water (5 to 7.5 feet) like i have been fishing for the past 2 to 3 weeks and started getting more bites and more importantly started boating some more fish...in about 3 1/2 hrs my wife and i boated 10 channels including a 7, 8, & 10 lber...the others ranged from 2 to 5 lbs...used cut and whole shad and cut white perch...also used fresh shrimp for the first time today and caught the smallest channels on it...got a lot of hits on it and when i cranked in the rod for a bait check the shrimp was eaten all the way up to the hook...it does seem like the bite overall has slowed down considerabley from last week...any ideas???
