Bruce and I fished Greenwood this morning for the first time in months. Started out using gizzard shad and herring, but the bite was super slow today and fish scattered. At noon we cut one of the Skipjacks and the bites started. over the next 2 hours we caught 7 nice channels and lost 6 on the way to the boat. Had a lot of other short bites, it showed me they like the Skipjack! Can't wait to see what the Wateree Blues do with Skippies! Might be a Smackdown coming on this Sat coming.

All fish caught today in 20 to 25 ft. Water temp was 54 degrees up lake and 50 at mid lake.

No scrimps on this trip Steve. You can bet that when Pat gets to go, we will have a few.
