Lake Ellsworth is located in Comanche County, about 10 miles N of Lawton. It
has 5'600 surface acres, 43 miles of shoreline, and an average depth of 15
feet. This Lake has long been known to hold a large number of big blues and
flatheads, but it also has a fair number of channel cats as well. Habitat
includes sunken timber throughout the lake, 11 buoyed fish attractors,
rip-rap on the dam, and railroad bridges. Its one of the more noteworthy
    catfisheries in Oklahoma.
