Lake Badin

    Going to lake Badin on 8-30 if there is any water left,Been to this lake 2-times,fished at traincrossing,does any body fish at the dam above train track,or is it safe to get close to this dam?Thanks for any info.:wink:

    Badin can be a pain in the summer time. I got some nice blues a coule weeks ago drifting slip floats over the main channel. cut shad was the bait. There are bunch of channels cats up near the dam usually in the summer time. You can go up to the dam, but if you don't know what you are doing, then you can get in trouble. Good luck!

    Lots of rocks near the dam. Lots of shad there too back in May. We trimmed up out of the water and slipped in with the trolling motor. Can't wait to get back up there in Oct. Anyway, rocks should be easier to see with the water down.

    just stay to the right side when your about 100 yards from it and you can go all the way up to it.
