Lake Anna channel catfish

    The Channels In lake anna and the north anna river are biting really good right now between 12am and 9am. use live crappie or bluegill. also stripers will hit your cut crappie and gills. caught a 15lb channel the other day on a bluegill on a bobber on north anna around 2 am.

    That's great. I hear Lake Anna has monster Channels!

    yea the biggest one ive seen come out of there was 31lbs only missing state record by 7 ozs. but an article i read of a study where they shocked the water they found 2 channels in there over 55lbs and that was in 2002. so those are 2 world records that still aint been caught

    yeah, on a quick day trip where we go down to do some boating, and swimmin, (a little boozin) and fishin, we always catch a bunch of cats on the sandbar.
