What months are best at the hot water outlet, and I heared there was a way to walk to it. Long walk but does anyone know how to walk to it?
    I don't got a boat yet.

The outlet is clear on the East side of the lake. It's been so long since I've been there I'm not sure I can tell you how very easily. As far as when to fish, the best times are some of the coldest days when both stacks are going. The water temps are almost up to 60 right now, and I've heard the crappie are getting close to spawning.

Btw, any relation to Bill or Gene?

Cool, Me and my buddy just got out of the Marines and are wanting to get back in to catfishing. No boat so were trying to find some good spots around Paola, Lacygne. Fish the mdc sometimes. Was told you can wald to the hotwater outlet, but he could'nt give very good directions. He did say it was about a mile walk.
When do the flatheads spawn there?
