Ashley and I went fishin today for a couple of hours. Got to the river at about 11. It was a nice 55 degrees with barely any wind. Nice day to be on the river.
I did fair on the fishin but Ashley got skunked.:sad2:
First I caught a 9 lb channel and as soon as I got him to the bank my other rod went down. 5 lb channel.
Release them and not 5 min later I get a 6 lb channel.
    Then a 2 lber.:smile2:
Nothing else for about 30 minutes so we moved.
The last spot gave up a 6 lb flathead. Nothin afterwards.
All fish took frozen cut shad that I caught the other day.

Hey Kyle, I'm disappointed with you. You wouldn't let Ashley catch
any of the fish? Just kidding. Good looking fish. I did go by the bridge,
they have everything tore up. Hopefully fishing will still be good there.

Not a single one. They put in some new PVC structure, but nothing there. Water was crystal clear, and we didn't even see any to throw a net at.:sad2:

Good to see you and Ashley have a good day on the river. Ashley you need to get Kyles poles onec in a while. I seem to remember a time on the Kaw river last year when you were taking a nap when your pole went down and it was a real nice blue and Kyle just took upon himself to take the fish. Pay backs girl:eek:oooh::wink::smile2::confused2::tounge_out:.
