I'm having a problem and hope someone can steer me in a better direction. I got a spool of Ande 60# leader material. It appears to be made of monofilament and has a .80 diameter. I have tried to tie it to my hooks and swivels with a polomar knot and cinch knot and it holds but is hard to tie and looks pretty rough when i'm done. I reckon my first question: is this line even made to tie knots or are you supposed to make leaders using loops and crimps with clamps? Second question: if it is made to tie knots, which knots would be better on that large of line? Any help would be appreciated, thanks.

Joe, I have not used the Ande leader material, but did have some 60 lb Ande line. The knots tied OK, but care had to be taken when tying knots to make sure that everything laid correctly, and the line was lubricated well so the knot would snug up properly.
