WOW thats crazy, says he was declared brain dead in second paragraph. you can see braided line hanging out of his eye socket when you enlarge first pic. Hard to believe bank sinker went all the way to the back of his skull. Thats horrible and sad and only 23. Makes you think twice about yanking on that line so hard when you get hung up:eek:oooh::eek:oooh::eek:oooh::eek:oooh: Scary

That had to be painful. That guy was only 23 and now he won't have a normal life. That sucks.

As nasty as that does look I want to thank you. I snag with 100 pound braid and light sinkers. I will remember this next time I am pulling a stuck set off a snag.

Makes me want to rethink using braid line.

when that heavy line snaps and sounds like a gunshot...a "bullet" really could be involved...

It just goes to show that tragedy can happen anywhere and anytime. I'll certainly think twice next time I'm snagged.

Wow, had a buddy get hit with a 5 oz an leave a nasty knot but this make his look like nothing. I hope he didnt give up fishing over this but, if he did I quess I would understand

  17. That gives me the creeps.:embarassed:

I am glad a buddy of mine taught me to use bread ties to tie my sinkers to the sinker slide so if it gets snagged it will pop off before something like this happens!:eek:oooh:
