Killed my 1st deer this morning!!!

    I killed a big 180-190lb doe this morning. Luckily she ran nearly 1/4 mile & died about 100ft from the road where I was parked! :)

    Nice deer Eric! I know how good it feels to get that first one with an arrow. Congrats on your first deer. Did you take her from a treestand?

    Yeah, I was in a stand. But, I don't know who's. LOL
    I've been hunting on DNR ground & permanent stands are not allowed, but someone put one up & I happened upon it & figured what the heck. I wasn't in it 10 minutes before she stepped out with 2 yearling's. :)
    I was pretty pumped!

    That's a nice doe Eric. Congratulations. I don't think that there is any kind of hunting that can quite give you that same feeling.......... That one that you just had.
