I frequently see our kids and grandkids first fish, or other memorable kids/fish photos. Lets use this thread to start a compilation of "happy kids and their fish". I'll start the ball rolling by posting my nine year old grandson's first blue at 5+ pounds. Justin was a happy camper in this shot. He has since caught a 10 pound channel, and a 14 pound flattie. I'm proud to have my new little fishin' buddy! He's a natural!!

LOL I didn't even notice it. Yea... I have extra shirts with sleeves in the camper. They don't always remember to bring their sleeves on the trips.

Way to go, Heather, on a nice fish! I'm out of thanks for now, folks, but will give all their due when my thanks icon reappears.

Here's one of my oldest son, Justin, from this past spring break from Coleto Creek Reservoir. 20lb flathead. He didn't actually pull it in, but all of them helped with the whole trip. They all shared in every step of the trip from getting the worms to catch the bait all the way to the table, so I made sure they all got pics with the end results.

Well it's not a catfish, but at the time my son caught his first fish we lived in Alaska, so cats weren't an option. Anyway, here is my middle son and his first fish, pink salmon in Prince William Sound...He was so excited and so was I. Wish I had a video of him reeling it in...priceless.

Sorry for the poor quality, it's a scan of a not so good print.

Well, they aren't catfish, but here is what I have taken this year.

My 9 year old daughter's first sturgeon, while night fishing for cats.

My 3 year old boy's first fist he reeled in all by himself.
