Need a mounting bracket for a 5 to 10 hp. motor
I have been looking for the same thing, and after pricing them I figured it might be easier to make out of welded aluminum. Just FYI
14 ga aluminum would be ideal for that i would think, it would be very easy to make.
You all may be right in building one.14 ga. aluminum is only .064" which would be too thin, one would need at least 1/4" and a good welder to do the work.Painted steel would be much easier and stronger.
I have the entire thing except the "L" brakets that mount to the boat. I also have the steering kit that attaches to your big motor for steering. If anyone wants everything how about 100.00 ( the sterring kit is that much).. Thanks Jayme
