Hi all, I was wondering if anybody is having any luck fishing this river. Its been a long time since Ive fished it and I'm back in the area now and going to try it in the next few days. I'm around the Antlers area and was wondering where there might be some good areas to fish.

looking at a map you have a few choices, sardis lake, hugo lake, mcgee creek lake, pine creek lake but i`m guessing the prime spot would be the red river, clear water is a better place for crappie and bass, muddy water for cat fish. welcome to boc!

Kiamichi is a good catfish river. Good structure, rocks shoals, logs, etc. Lots of channels, good flatheads, and some blues that come up riveer from Hugo Lake. No particular "spot" recommendations really. You can put in at Rattan Landing or I believe there's a ramp right north of Antlers. I've had my best luck on chicken or turkey livers. Live bait of course for the flatheads. Good luck.
