Kerr Reservoir?

    i've only been once, didn't get to fish much. thinking about going this winter.

    i heard report of some stripers schooling last week but no cat report.

    Below is a link to the Kerr Lake Message Board.....catfishing section. Sure haven't heard of any big boys being caught....around 30 lbs being the largest
    in a while although I would say the message board has been rather quite especially since the new format of the board a few months ago.

    I fish buggs alot. The bite is good right now. I'm drifting in 30-40ft useing cut crappie. Middle cuts seem to work better for me past few weeks. Shad has been hard to get at least for me. But as the weather cools down should be easier to get. And also the 20-30lbs must have been starving because the past few weeks they have been eating like crazy.:smile2: Hope this helps you out.     i hope to make it down before x-mas, stay the weekend and fish alot!

    looks like i'll have to bring the ultra light rod to catch some crappie...
