I met up with Big Sam and Regan Saturday morning and we fished some 2 ft. water in heavy stumps, the snappers were biting well :smile2:. Sam caught this one right off the bat. We managed around 10 blues today with the biggest coming in at just under 13 lbs. and 32 inches long. This will give some of the Oklahoma anglers an idea of how much a 30 inch fish will weigh. We used shad and skip's today for bait.
The 1 ton team catfish rods got tested today horsing some fish through and around stumps. The more I use these rods the more I like them :cool2:.

    Johnny,
Glad to here you survived "fairy" land and could get in on Sam's assault on another snapper. Too bad it didn't top the 90+ pounder he got last time.
I am ready to here about you boys making Regan fillet one of those things.

No, i think the middle of the boat started smelling pretty bad by the time we quit. We'll blame it on the chair :smile2:.

Once you get "swallowed" by the XXXL coleman it pretty much over:eek:oooh::tounge_out: I dont think Regan was feeling good that not being able to hear is gotta take it's toll on a feller:sad2: He is going back to the specialist pretty quick maybe they can help him to where he can hear his clickers......He would just sit there with his clicker just a screamin:eek:oooh: sometimes it sounded like a truck shiftin gears:smile2: Me and Johnny were just a hollering get him:wink:

Boys, it looks like Regan is placed perfectly in the boat to remove hooks and fish from the front and back of the boat. Yeah, I wonder if he did catch one. With Johnny on the camera, Regan looked like the "net boy":confused2:
Looks like a good trip. I am ready to hook back up with you boys and slime up the ComboCat.:cool2:

Johnny, you need to put some sand on Regan's clickers or swap them out for some Toyota gears. We all know they scream when they are grinding.
Maybe you could rig up a 12 volt shocker on the clicker.....it would shock him when he is getting a run............or Sam could just keep a cattle prod in the back of the boat to shock him into setting the hook.

Well i could see where a cattle-rod might come in handy for a feller:0a5: Ol'e Regan would come flying out of that chair:wink: But as rumor has it there is already a 'couple' of folks hitting Kerr with shocking devices:angry::sad2: I wish the warden would patrol day & night for about 3 wks solid:wink: Heard their keeping big fish to sell:angry:

Fellers its about time to have a tourny, I just hope we can get bigger fish than we been getting. I have been 3-4 times in the last month or so caught 10-15 fish just about everytime just no line strechers. Well me and Teague will be on the prowl again this year, Ray took on some more duties at his job and will not be able to fish all tournys, sure enjoyed fishing with him last year. If you get the chance go with him sometime take him up on it,we all ways had a good time win or lose did not matter. Well I guess we will see you at the ramp on the 17th

Sam, I think with Johnny, Deer season comes in many seasons....muzzleloading season, bow season, modern gun season, slingshot season, deering punching season, blow gun season, paintgun season, spear season, headlock season, tripping season, snipe hunting season...........you will never see him until about January.

I am a man that has a hobby for all seasons and weather conditions, None of them include staying home :smile2:.
Sam, i'll sacrifice opening day if you want to fish the tournament. I'm thinking about taking the whole week off anyway and hunting some days and fishing some days depending on the weather :cool2:.
