hey everyone..... i know a spot in cambridge where you can get 30 shad with one throw of a cast net, but we never try and use them while they're still alive.. i was wondering if theres any special way to keep them kickin for a few hours after you run a hook through them.. id love to use live shad but can never figure out a good method when im using 8/0 gama hooks....

i use live shad for flattys alot. the best way i have found to keep them alive on a hook is to use a 4/0 or 5/0 fine wire octopus hook and hook them thru the nose.
