Wondering if any of you Kansas guys have ever thrown in on the Fall River north of the lake, or started on the lake and gone upstream. I've always heard it's a good place to paddle but I havn't been out there since I got my kayak. I'd like to go out there and see if I can tie into some flatties when the weather gets a little nicer.

There arent a whole lot of people on here who fish there.
I think you can put in at Eureka and float down to the lake, but dont quote me on that.:smile2:

I have spent a lot of time on the river above the lake. Most of it in a canoe before I bought my Yaks. Never really fished it much for Flats but there is some great Channel and white bass fishing. There are lots of different places to put in. Most of it is pretty shallow.
