    I put a trolling motor on mine also. It sure beats paddling against the wind or current on the way back to the launch. Not to mention that I can get to the area I want to fish a little faster.

    I like that it gives me options for many things. Obviously it saves some paddling, but also options for different fishing tactics. I can drag baits, like in the big boat for example, or I can counter the drift and hover over a spot. Just way more options than paddling alone, or at least much less complicated/exhausting.

    I fish out of a canoe. My wife and daughter go every chance they get so a YAK wouldn't work for me. My 6 year old has become quite the navigator!! 1.jpg
