Hit the water at woodduck at 4:00 pm, tossed the old cast net maybe 8 times and had more shad than I could of used in 2 days, lol.
First hole was productive caught an 8 # channel and a few small blues.
    Second hole I caught 5 and 7 # channel and a 5# blue with a deformed tail, some smaller blues, a 3 - 4 # drum.
And of course the big one got a way, lol, it didn't fight any differant then the other channels I caught but did break my line at the swivel, could have been an equipment malfunction, who knows.
Did a lot of rocking with the ski boats running up and down the river, the bite was on as soon as I got my lines in the water, I say around 5 pm, and stopped as soon as the sun went down.

River height was about normal, I was anchoring 12 to 13 feet of water and fishing in 17 to 18 feet.
