me and a buddy of mine got a few flatheads last night posted the pics in the gallery
Ok, I'll check those out, Hope everyone is doing good :0a23:
I heard that there is some deep holes on the Kaw close to Eudora , that produce some monster fish. Does anyone know if there is any wing dikes in that area? If so how long of a walk is it? and is it thick bush or pretty clear?
Thank You in advance
there are some wing dams down there its a good walk to get to the good holes(400 yrads or so)a good path to follow though the four wheelers have made a real good path to follow, i fish down there all the time its a heck of a spot better bring the big boy line...lol
Anyone fish the confluence of the Wakarusa/Kaw, Stranger/Kaw , Mill Creek/Kaw? Is there any paths that lead you to these, or do I need a boat?
i fish the first two a few times a year both are a pain to get to buy foot but came be done. both are decent fishing holes
Went down to Kaw point yesterday and under the Turner bridge. Used nightcrawlers , no bites either place.
First one is under Turner Bridge, second one is Kaw point , both from Valentines day. The rest of them are from today at 435. Shad sides and nightcrawlers, no bites.

No problem Steve , we've got 6 months of Catfishing right around the corner.
Great pics, lookin good. Ya know I can't wait until temp warms a little.
when does the bite really pick up at 435
i never really stopped catchin them down there. all channels no flats no blues
Hey Trevor what spot down at 435 were you catching them at? I was on the side where the water was flowing out real heavy, fishing in that hole just to the left of the chute. I was using nightcrawlers and shad sides, no bites.
i fish the far north side. rig up with real small weights and let your bait drift in the slow current. it takes alot of worms and patience but they're there.
Trevor , what size channels were you catching over there? We caught some at the chute the other night , eaters. No fighters. Oh well , try again tomorrow.
I think I'll hit it up when I get off of work today.
All i caught was one and two pounders no big boys. Caught enough to keep entertained.
