    Just thought I'd try to get some conversation going for the next mega gathering. A few questions mostly.
    Are we settled on Melvern? What's the date gonna be.
    The reason I'm asking when and where is, I'd like to get a reservation in the first of the year, I've heard there's folks who do put in real early down there. If it is going to be down there, it'd be great if we could monopolize the area we had last year, it couldn't be more perfect for us, in my opinion.:smile2:.
    This might be a mite early for some, just thought I'd bring it up though.

    i was happy with it. i think its more centrally located for the state. could do without the 5 mile gravel road of dust but nothin's perfect :roll_eyes:.

    BTW, i call place back !! :smile2::smile2:

    I liked Melvern alot. If we reserve early we can take up all the sites on the point like we did last time and we will be set.:wink: Clean campgrounds with a close ramp and hot showers.:big_smile::smile2:
    Nice drive home too, if I take the long way.
    First weekend in June sounds great to me, so far. It is a ways away. Sad to think about really, with winter nippin at our heels.:sad2::smile2:

    What J.J. said, "PLACE SAVE":smile2:, come 1 January, mine is going in. Kyle, you're good for the same spot too:wink::smile2:

    Yeah, I know it's early, but just got to thinking about it.

    Yeah Kyle, it was him, who else fills up their avatar like that and makes a 20lb Catfish look like a 5lbr:wink::eek:oooh::roll_eyes::smile2:

    Jim I dont think its to early to start planning for the mega....I'm glad you brought it up.

    This one will most likley be bigger than the last one and its going to take some planning to get everyone in that area and to plan for the group dinner.

    I will be trying to reserve the same spot that Rick & Me had.
    We can talk some about it this weekend while we are at the Mini at Perry:big_smile:

    JJ if you come in on the west side its all paved roads.:tounge_out:

    We should'nt have any problem with room for the tenters sharing our camper spots either. I had two tents, and one to many vehicles at my site, Cody and Flathead wandering around, when the really GREAT park hosts we had came around, they never said a word, petted Cody, asked how we were doing etc.:big_smile: The park ranger and Sheriff Deputy were also quite casual about our crowd, (CEPT FOR CALEB AND DREW OF COURSE:eek:oooh::roll_eyes::wink::smile2:) I know we wouldn't have gotten treated like that at Curtis Creek.

    Funny thing about that avatar pic. That was a 4 or 5 lb. Milford blue. LOL As for spots at Melvern next June, I really liked the spots around where Casey and Jake was. Lots of shade, and you can literally fish from your tent. Next year Im going to try to plan to stay out there for a few extra days. So maybe a 6 or 7 day run. 3 or 4 days go by so quick for all the planning and packing and stuff to get ready for it. :cool2:
