    Hi guys,
I am going to be using my boat (12 foot jon boat) around the 300 acre lake I fish. Where are good visual aids to cast your bait near? Is the fishing good during the day (night fishing isn't allowed)? Thanks.

Like they said cover is good. Docks are really good try under the dock, at the deep end close to the bank ect.

Welcome to the boc. These guys hit the nail on the head. Structure and deep holes are the spots.

    Thanks,
My dad said when he grew up fishing a river in Kansas near his family's farm, he could see the cats' back fin out of the water stalking the small fish in shallow water at night. That means they have to be prowling shallow waters!

Alot of times during the day you can do pretty well on main lake points as well.
