just spooled some spiderwire

    i just put 150 yards of 30 pound spiderwire stealth on my abu 6000. is this a good combination?

    i use 50 lb on my setups but just depends on what ur fishing for
    my kids keep 20to30lb on theres
    spiderwire is the best especialy around rocks and logs:eek:oooh:

    I was wondering the same thing. I just got a abu black cat and was deciding to either put 30 or 50# stealth on it.

    i'd go 80# if possible if this is a catfish setup and you plan on catching some big fish. i use 20 -50# for my bass fishing stuff and i was using that for cats too for a while, so it will work. it works great in weeds and timber....but rocks and superline don't go well together usually. the added diameter of the 80# line will help out the abrasion resistance. i'd definately use a mono leader though. :big_smile:
