Well I can't wait any longer, my fishing partner and I are going to put the jugs out Friday night come what may. We are going to fish around Palarm Creek and see what happens, will let you know how it works out.

    hello srblack

we went out last week end and caught three, it is tuff with the water so high, they are up in the flooded areas, there is so much new feeding ground for them, there was a lot of current even in the flooded aeras, we had a little problem with the water pushing us under tree limbs when we checked the Jugs, we tried fishing in the main channel and no luck,

it maybe different where you are at, the water is starting to go down around here, good luck,

We have a couple of coves we usually fish where the current is not so bad. We also went to Wal-Marts and thet have a pole used to wash your cars that extends out 8-9 ft with an optional grapple hook on it to keep us out of the trees and it helps somewhat, plus it helps if the fish is trying to run from you with the jug.

Well we gave it a shot last night but the water was still too high and our cove had alot of current in it. We gave it a try but only caught 1 channel and missed a couple more, but the night turned out to be a great one as my daughter gave birth to her first baby, a 6lb 2oz boy. I welcome Mr. Jake Bryant into this world and hope he will be a member of the BOC in the future. All in all a great night.
