I just finished a quilt chest for a very good friend of ours. I thought I was homesteading this one it took so long.LOL It was a labor of love for a benefit for a young woman who has cancer.

Here is a picture of my big ole shop.LOL Man you can't cuss a cat in there without gettin fur in your mouth, but I am thankful to have it.

Check out how I have my miter saws lined up. It is really handy this way and saves me a bunch of steps.

Jim That is some gorgous work my friend. I showed it to donna and she said if it had crossed her mind she would have made a quilt to go in it.

Beautiful work. And that's a fine shop also. Reminds me of my Grandfather whom has passed. He mostly made grandfather clocks and china cabinets but his last piece was a violin. It was almost finished when he passed away while working on it in his shop. Thanks for sharing, its nice to see something so nicely hand crafted again.

Jim Don't' know if it will go to the auction or not. LOL
That is a great piece, I passed the e-mail on to marilyn at work. She loved it.
She thinks it will bring a big price. If not I will buy it my self.Someone will not get it for nothing.
Also Jim Our daughter in law is doing good after surgery and should be home in the am.

Jim not only are you a sweet man but an extremely talented one as well. It is absolutely beautiful. Judy is one lucky woman having you around. And for heavens sake, dont let Hershell see that shop, you might never get him to come back home. Thanks for sharing it with us.

    Jim,

Fantastic job Brother. You sure can't buy a chest that's built even half way that good. I know it took many hours to create that master piece.

You Sir, are a Master Craftsman, no doubt about it.. Thanks for sharing those photos...
