I'm sure that alot of others are doing this also, but on my baitcaster reels I use Rem-Oil made by Remington, as a lubricant while I'm out fishing. It comes in a spray can and does wonders for keeping those rats nests out of your reels. Just spray it on the reel and line, or anything else that needs lubricated, and then your set for the day. It doesn't leave a slimy film like some of the other oils and also doesn't weaken the line at all. Not a big secret but thought I would post for those that are looking for new things to try.
