What size boat are you putting on it?? All you would need to do is slide a 4 ft of square tubing over the tongue which would extend your length then upgrade the tires to 12 inch... this might make the trailer 400 bucks for a brand new trailer...


this is what it would look like...

new square tubing

1.5 ft of old tongue inside sleeve
---------
--------- Then attach your trailer coupling at the very end...
______________________________ 1 7/8 coupling
new square tubing

well i have a 16 foot flatbottom right now but i would have to extend it at least 4 feet. the trailer is only 12 feet long so that to much in my opinion. i extended the POS trailer i have now but didnt move the axel foward and man is it tongue heavy

If you can weld and have a welder, moving an axle aint that big of a deal.
Improperly placed axles can be bad on the road. Sudden stopping or trailer sway.
