I'm preparing to leave for the James River in a little while. The wife said to just go so she would not have to listen to me any more about not enough time on the water. "Squeaky wheel gets the grease", is what daddy taught us growing up. Any way, I hope to have a good report tomorrow sometime by noon. Later for now---jonnycat

I don't know if I'd be better off with a job like that or off fishing the james River! Tuff choice.

I should have saved the money for later in the fall. Water temps are 88-90 degrees from Deep Bottom to Richmond. I picked up 4 nice shad in just a few minutes with my 30ft gill net. 21 and 27lbs was the tally. I will wait for a while before going again. Probably for my son's birthday aug 26th. His nickname is Majorcat and he still has me beat by 12lbs with a 65lb'er caught in Jan '04. Later for now---jonnycat
