Had a very good time on the james fri. ,sat. ,sun. this last 70 + was the best came on eel
Went to Riverside Thurs. and caught 12 biggest was 28 and several 10's.How did ya'll do at the James.

Adam, you can put in at beepbottom,dutch gap, and jordan point. These are all excellant places to fish out of. Hope this helps.

I fished a few hours saturday morning. We put in at deep bottom. Biggest in the boat was about forty pounds. I was psyched. Thats my pb blue and also the first time ive fished the james. Cut shad for bait.

thanks dudes! that was actually a pretty vicious fish, lots of head shakes.
in just the past week there have been several fish caught in the james. 40's, 50's, 60's, even 70lbs!!!! now is the time to be there. first cold stretch of the year combined with the full moon meant for goood fishing. It should be pretty good throughout the rest of the winter. those big blues love cold.
Will, we need to hurry up and plan our trip back up there to stay with your pops and catch some monsters. im highly excited about it.
