James river report

    ]Went out yesterday in the light rain got on the water round 2 set the net did a lil casting fishin with ratl traps and cranks caught a couple largemouth and one decent schoolie striper bout 20in, pulled the net got 7 nice cutters or so then went and set up on about 40 ft o water fished bout an hour and caught 6 or 7 round 10 or 15 lbs the hooked up on my new PB a 69lbr it was great! the biggest ive caught and the biggest we've put in the boat it was a helluva feelin watchin him boil right off the boat. Fished a lil more caught a few more small ones then the rain picked up it dark and we wanted some beer so we left haha.

    Good to catch up with some guys...Yep...That avatar features a rare shot of both the BH bridge and DG landing in the same frame. Also you could see bigfoot on one shoreline as well. :) I'm hiding it cause someone showed me that spot. No school on Tues so depending on weather me a few buddies are gonna give it another try. Fri stunk for me. Suggestions? Sounds like eels and maybe pretty deep holes? If we go I'll expect 20-25 gusts for sure...
