I plan on fishing Percy Priest soon. Where are good locations to find cats.
From the bank or boat I know its a few weeks till spawn begins. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

    Thanks,
    Steve

Scuffy JPP was my favorite lake in the whole world when I was stationed at FT.knox.Made it down there every other week-end but fished mainly for smallmouths at night.I did catch a 17lb channel on a grub one night while smallmouth fishing with 6lb test line.Hell of a fight that went round and round a submerged rockpile for about 20 minutes.Don't know about the catfish though and haven't ever seen anybody post about fishing JPP.Good luck:)

Scuffy, I fish priest from about the second week in may till the second week in june, depending on the weather and water temps. Will fish the uper end ( stones river) for white bass and crappie at the present time. For the may june catfishing will fish rocky banks that are close to deep water. Use a slip float and fish about 3 to 4 foot deep.
