J.J. Yeley is going to replace Tony Raines in the 96 car for 2008. I believe there is a news conference either later today or tomorrow to make it OFFICIAL. I would think that it may not be until tomorrow when Gibbs Racing is supposed to make it OFFICIAL that they are switching to Toyota for 2008.
The silly season is warming up. I look for this to be a very active and interesting silly season.

that will be a good move for hall of fame racing. tony is a good driver, but is not good enough to win in the cup races. he will be good back in busch and maybe in a truck. he may even be able to help one of the go or go home teams, he just can't make it into the top 25 and stay.

Its a single car under-funded team and will soon be fazed out, I believe it was a desperate move on J.J. Yeley's part to extend is Nextel Cup career. He had his chance to win with the best equipment money can buy. Maybe 1 or 2 top 10 finishes at best in '08
