Got an email from Stacie yesterday stating that the Catawba Catfish Club has been officially approved as a Cabelas King Kat Qualifying Tournament Series.Great news for the club and its anglers. The Top 2 places from each tournament will quailfy for the Classic. If a Team in the Top 2 has already qualified then it will drop down to te next available postion starting at 3rd.Just remember though,in order to fish the Classic you will still have to fish in at least one Cabelas King Kat Qualifying Tournament or at least send in an entry fee for one of their Tournaments, you do not have to show up as long as your entry is paid. Then you will be eligible to fish the classic.Otherwise you would have to qualify thru another series or fish a Cabelas Tourney and finish in Top 20
We look forward to working with Cabelas for many years to come. Its the Top Catfishing Tournament series in the USA and we are proud to be affliated with them.

No rule changes,at least this year,we are pretty close anyhow on the rules.Rod Limit,3 Fish to 5 Fish and a few small items and thats it.May go all Cabelas next year,we will see but for this year we are staying where we are at.

Alright, Way to Go! Now if we could all get together and help set a Cabela's Regonal Tournament back in the Carolinas. I know a lot of Carolina teams can travel once a year but twice a year is tough right now for anyone.
