    That my man is a P38 and I have used one many times in the jungle. My P38s main job was to open peaches. brings back a lot of memories and most bad.

    I may only be 38 years young, but my granpa used to use one of these to open up cans of peaches.

    There is one on my keyring now. If U have one hang on to it, they are hard to find.

    i have 2 one iv used for over 17 years its always worked even when the electric was off :big_smile:

    when i was 20 years old i spent some time on the road hitch hiking wished i had it then , you ever try opening a can of mixed veges with a rusted nail and a rock , nearly imposible less yer very hungry

    they make a P51 also that is larger and supposed to be easier to use.
    i am bidding on a lot of 10 p38s i will try and give a few of these away here on the board in some kind of trivia game

    I still carry one. It has been in my pocket since 1965. I will see if I can locate some more of those around here tony and send you one. Give me a few days to round up the old feller that deals in that stuff.
