I caught this 10lb fellow this morning, but I'm not sure what kind of catfish it is.

Nice catch, looks like a flathead to me.
Sure is. Congrats on a nice flathead! :cool2:
yep that's a flathead:cool2:
I would like to see more photos, no doubt it is a flathead, but that is the "pointiest" headed flathead I have ever seen! It is probably just the angle of the picture, but the nose of the fish looks more like a channel than any flathead I have ever seen.:confused2:
i said flatty due to the squared off tail
Flattie because of that bottom lip it sticks out to suck those perch out from under those flat rocks. Thanks Sam Davis
That got my blood flowing:smile2:!
flathead for sure rick

yessir thats a flathead. not a bad one at that either
yEA THATS A PRETTY FATHEAD U CAN ALSO TELL BY ITS COLOR
Oh yeah, it was great.
Hooked that dude at the Granger Dam spillway, using an Abu 5500 Ultra Cast, 7' Tournament Choice fiberglass rod, and cut bait.
He put a heckuva fight! The blood was pumping. I thought maybe I had hooked a Carp, as that is usually what happens when I get a good fish on the line, so I was double excited when I saw it was actually a Catfish!
Too bad there was nobody around for me to lord it over and brag too.
Only thing I regret is keeping him and eating him. I really wish I had just tossed him back, even though he was only 10lbs. My personal best though by 2lbs.
